金門島、台湾 Kinmen Island, Taiwan

2024年4月16日から30日まで、中国の上海、杭州、寧波、福州、泉州を訪れました。
その後、台湾の管轄下にある金門島に向けて、フェリーで厦門から中国を出国しました。
金門島は素晴らしい場所です。
島をレンタルした電動バイクで楽しくぐるぐるしました。
訪れた中で特筆すべき場所は、馬山観測所です。
馬山は、本土中国からわずか約2キロメートル離れた最も近い地点です。
海峡を挟んで厦門の高層ビルを見ながら、尺八を吹きました。
明日は再びフェリーで厦門に渡り、中国への訪問を続けます。
厦門、黄山、湖州、南京、蘇州、そして上海を訪れる予定です。
さらなる2週間の冒険が待っています…
Visited the cities of Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Fuzhou, and Quanzhou in China from 16th to 30th April 2024.
Then exited China from Xiamen via ferry towards Kinmen Island which is under the control of Taiwan.
Kinmen Island is such a wonderful place to visit.
I enjoyed riding the rented electric motorbike around the island.
A noteworthy place I visited is Mashan Observation Station.
Mashan is the closest point to Mainland China, separated by only about 2 kilometers of water.
Played my Shakuhachi while gazing at the high rise buildings of Xiamen across the straits.
Tomorrow, I shall cross over to Xiamen again by ferry, and continue my visit to China.
The plan covers the cities of Xiamen, Huangshan, Huzhou, Nanjing, Suzhou, and Shanghai.
Another two weeks of adventure awaiting…

寧波市で尺八愛好家との出会い Meeting a Shakuhachi enthusiast at Ningbo City

4月16日から30日まで中国を旅し、上海、杭州、寧波、福州、泉州を通過しました。
25日（木）、寧波市では、月湖公園で出会った地元の尺八愛好家と楽しく遊びました。
私たちの尺八はほぼすぐに一つの調和したハーモニーとなり、約4時間一緒に吹きました。
Traveled in China from 16th to 30th April 2024, passing by Shanghai, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Fuzhou, and Quanzhou.
On 25th (Thu), at Ningbo City, I had a jolly good time playing with a local Shakuhachi hobbyist whom I had just met at the Moon Lake Park.
Thrilling, amazing feeling in that our flutes almost immediately became one harmonious sound as we happily played together for about four hours.

台湾に10日間の一人旅 Solo ten-day trip to Taiwan

先日、台湾に10日間の一人旅をしてきました。
「老街」をのんびり歩いたり超便利なYouBikeまたは初経験の電動オートバイでクルージングしたりして、大好物の小籠包や初挑戦の臭豆腐のような「小食」を存分に楽しんでいました。
今回は、嘉義市、斗六（雲林県）、竹南（苗栗県）、新竹市、基隆市、台北市を訪れました。
次回の旅をまた、計画したいと思っています。
Spent a solo ten-day trip to Taiwan recently.
Had a lot of fun leisure-strolling, and cruising the old streets with the very convenient YouBike or electric motorbike (first time to experience), and relishing the many small eats such as the delectable soup dumplings and stinky tofu (first time to challenge)…
This occasion, visited Chiayi city, Douliu (Yunlin county), Zhunan (Miaoli County), Hsinchu city, Keelung city, and Taipei city.
Am already looking forward to planning the next trip…
