Riding the yacht (Santa Barbara)

Was offered an opportunity to bring some international students to experience riding on a yacht, Santa Barbara. We started off from Mure Port and headed for Ikeda Port at Shodoshima. Tried the famous Shodoshima fresh ‘somen’ noodles and the sweet plum softcream. The international students cooked and brought some food as well. The students had much fun, falling into the sea while trying to ride the SUPs. I was happy enough to stand guard, playing the shakuhachi while watching the day go by…Thank you so much to Mr. RY for the kind invitation and the many wonderful memories and photos… 🙂

Sailing with ‘Santa Barbara’ yacht

Was super lucky to be invited by a friend who owns a yacht…
He took me out for a test ride on sleek and beautiful ‘Santa Barbara’ the other day…
Sailing with just the wind and the waves was a truly exhilarating experience…
No engines running… Loved it so much…
